Album Notes

Composer and keyboard instrumentalist Robert Bitte has taken jazz to a new level with his latest release AUTUMN MOON. Here is music that is, all at once, ambient and involving.
There are 14 songs on this album and each share a serenity we all need since 9/11. Mr Bitte writes music that is contemplative and transportive. Some of it upbeat and some of it is oh, so mellow. I remember the first time I listened to it, I found AUTUMN MOON smooth, like really good bourbon, and just as intoxicating.
Here is expressive instrumental music filled with acoustic and synth textures that move and uplift the listener. From the title track that opens the album, to the 14th song, DESTINY, this reviewer found inner peace, inspiration and joy. Robert Bitte has the ability to put just the right notes together and then play them with uncommon talent.
And why not? He brings 35 years of experience to this delight, both playing drums for various bands and recording albums. Autumn Moon is his second solo album and in this reviewer's opinion, puts him in the forefront of all his contemporaries. It is a leadership role that is deserving and destined
Whether at home or in your car, you will find AUTUMN MOON has the ability to let you release from your cares and the resultant stress. Robert Bitte has given us music that heals and celebrates the human spirit!

Metaphysical Reviews

John Lennon wrote" Turn off your mind, relax, and float downstream," and that's exactly what folks should do when listening to AUTUMN MOON, the new smooth-jazz album from Robert Bitte. Full of soft synthesizers and various acoustic accounterments, serene melodies like "Inner Peace"- clearly influenced by Erik Satie's "Tres Gymnopedies"- vie with slightly more energetic works like the playful "Cybercat " and the buoyant "Bouncing Off The Walls", producing a genuinely relaxing instrumental outing. The 14 compositions, overall, make for a stylish and calming collection.
