Born October 13th in Kansas City, Missouri. BJ Miller is the daughter of musicians. Her mother Bettye Miller was the "Queen of Jazz". Playing piano, vibes and singing along with her bass-playing husband Milt Abel. Blessed with talents from both parents, BJ has used her abilities to capativate audiences across the United States, Canada, France, Spain, and Tokyo.

She has played and sung with a multitude of artist such as Ronnie Laws, Bloodstone, Bonnie Pointer, Fred Wesley, B. B. King, Marvin Cease, Matt "Guitar" Murphy, Johnny "Guitar" Watson, Roy Ayers, Sir Charles Jones, Willie Clayton, ... and many more.

BJ's skills include writing, singing, playing, arranging, engineering and producing just to name a few of her talents. She has recently recorded and co-produced her first CD titled "Where's My Bra". She also, did the same for three other artists including LaSha Jackson, Reggie P. and Rue Davis.

Reccently she's gone on to complete her second CD, titled "Holy Spirit" a gospel masterpiece and a third CD, titled "Girl Friend" a R&B smash sound filled with great tunes and produce the "Better Man" CD for Mack Davis.
