Album Notes

Brett Juilly's music is visual. It tells a story. Each melody is a character, and the song narrates each character's paths and discoveries. It's no surprise that Brett has a degree in film and has scored several short films, including a handful of his own. The first song he wrote, at age ten, was background music for a short science fiction film he was storyboarding.

Having studied classical piano and jazz improv since he was four years old, Brett started writing his own music and revealing his unique style as a young teen. The CD "Piano" is a collection of Brett's solo New Age piano pieces, performed by him in two studio sessions set a year apart. (If you listen closely, you can hear the difference between the two pianos in the two studios - and even between Brett's performance styles during the two sessions.)
