A classically trained pianist and singer. Brian writes: "When I was ten years old I started producing shows in my grandma’s kitchen. She’d serve appetizers and beverages to guests and I’d play music for them. Watching and hearing the audience members’ reactions, I discovered that my music had a profound effect on their healing. Relaxation happened, and a smile appeared. Love and transformation has been my main motivation to writing music and performing."

Soldier's Story: I wrote "Soldier" in 1999. I was preparing for a trip to Santa Barbara to attend a one-week retreat with Ven. Thich Nhat Hanh. While doing walking meditation in the forest behind my apartment building a feeling of great light arose in me. Tears started to flow, as my heart opened. And the music and lyrics for Soldier were brought to life.
