Album Notes

Rick and Amanda Wilkins met while working as sidemen for a professional touring opening act. After leaving the act, Black Bird was formed and a C.D. was produced featuring 13 original tunes and 1 original by Paul McCartney. Joined by an impressive list of their sideman friends including Bart Reardon- guitars ( Lew Dewitt, Engineer Extraordinair), Royce Campbell - guitar ( Henry Mancini, Marvin Gaye ), Rick Burnette- guitar ( Hot Band of the Hungry Dog ), Hurl Lambert-drums( Charlie Pastorfield and the Believers), David Artz-pedal steel,guitar ( stage band Patsy Cline, Just a Closer Walk, Wayside Theatre),Doug Arthur-stand up bass(Hot Band of the Hungry Dog) and Brian Martin- bass (The Jokers, Miranda,Shane and the Moneymakers) who once was honered with the dubious title of the greatest unknown bassist in Nashville!! A greattime was had by all!
