Formed in early 2003 as the brainchild of long-time friends Ben Chung and Dave Zavala, (guitars), the Blackbirdz hatched into a five-piece original Rock band. With dueling guitars, keys, thumping bass and driving beats the Blackbirdz have evolved into a top flight jam/rock band. Their quintessential good times electric psychedelia makes them a must see. Organically grown from the beaches of Southern California, the Blackbirdz sound is a mix of Rock and Reggae with a fat slice of Jam.
Blackbirdz are extremely happy to be releasing their self titled debut album right here on CDbaby. Blackbirdz CD release party is scheduled for Saturday, December 13th at Winstons Beach Club. Located in Ocean Beach in San Diego.
