Black City Avenger comes out of Halifax, Nova Scotia with a classic but modern sound. Steering clear of the indie/light rock and the heavy metal genres, which are popular in the area.
Black City Avenger are bringing a hard rock, hook driven sound. Influences in their music is apparent, ranging from ACDC, Matt Mays, Deep Purple, The Killers, and many others.
The Black City Avenger EP was recorded from June 2010-September 2010 by Brett MacDougall at Rickshaw Studios in Lower Sackville, Nova Scotia.
