ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
ETHANE 2,2-BIS(P-CHLOROPHENYL)-1,1,1-TRICHLOROETHANE 1,4-BIS(PHENYLAMINO)BENZENE BIS-(2-ETHYLHEXYL)PHTHALATE BISPHENOL A BISPHENOL A DIGLYCIDYL

Something old, something new and everything in between. Many will find our music to be deeply spiritual - because it is. It is not a statement of a faith, however (though I am a believer). But rather an exploration of something much more basic - Oneness, a belief that all men have a common experience and a common hope for peace. We believe that art, in all its forms, is the truest expression of the human spirit, one in which all can find a place of comfort.

History:
Although officially born in March 2001, the roots of black ether stretches back almost 40 years, when one 3 year old with a toy piano met another 3 year old with a toy drum in the hallway of a Brooklyn project where we both lived. We've been making music together ever since. We will be making music together so long as we can find the strength to breath.

Group Members:
Jay Rivera on keys, basses, and programming. Brian Goodwill, Jr. on beats and all kinds of interesting little toys.

A diamon in the Rough!
Black Ether is more then a name..it's a concept..it defines all of what they are..moody downtempos, uplifting and hopeful music at other times. Icy synths, monks, fantastic beat work by B, and outstanding keyboard work lace together to form this sightless and ever-present veil of Black Ether. Which brings you into another realm of the mind. BE is an omnipresence, you will feel it in their creations. Brian on beats is the perfect compliment to Ether's sytle..Together they ARE the dynamic Duo. Expanding the limits of Electronica with hypnotic melodies and wantons beats that call to the soul..I look very forward to their new CD..

From one artist to another - excellent work
I first heard of Black Ether from acidplanet.com ..and after hearing only 2 songs..I immediately purchased their cd - so when it finally arrived in the mail, I popped it into my player, and just sat back and soaked it all in, capturing the very essence of Black Ether. Wonderful Wonderful music.

Sincerely,
Josh Kreydatus

Great music
Excellent flow from the first track to the last. If you love ambient with space/futuristic and gothic overtones, you'll love this CD. I do!

Mixing no more than the surreal and serenity
The clips alone sound like they'er out of a dream, blending the sounds of new and old into a mind lifting audio wonderland.
