I stumbled across these guys about a month ago on MySpace, checked out their official site and then came here to buy the CD. I honestly put this CD in my car and just let it cycle over and over, it's that good. It'd definitely worth it to check these guys out.

An excellent metal album

This is a quality album from a really fine band. Its power metal with melodic bits and really nice vocals. The lyrics work really well in the songs despite not having a clue what they are about! This CD suits anyone who likes Gamma Ray, HammerFall, Edguy etc. The CD is 47 minutes long and has lovely packaging. Well worth it...

I've got to add that after listening to this CD for a while I like it even better than I did at first--and that's saying a lot.

Good, solid, melodic metal with some nice original touches.

Hero is solid, melodic metal with great groove and some nice original touches. I love the gong and chanting that bracket the song Life (and the album, since it closes with a remix of Life--nice symetry there). The vocals are cool too listen to even without understanding the words. I really like the singer's voice and style. I'm not sure if it's whistling or some kind of flute on a couple of tracks, but I love it. Nice variety in the mood and texture throughout the album. They've got a great feel for groove, which metal often lacks. I really enjoy this one. I'd buy more from Blackhole.
