Another great collection of "pub style" folk songs by the Black Irish Band with a twist or two thrown in. A chantey, a couple uptempo instrumentals, a waltz, a few ballads, and mostly good old rousing vocal tunes to sing a long to. CHEERS.

Where traditional meets original. America's only Italian & Irish Band of 18 years! These guys play with fire and passion. They can go from an Irish Jig to an Italian Love Song like no other! Tipperary is the second recoding by the band focusing on pub music. The band's, "The Day the Earth Shook", laid the groundwork for this new soon to be classic effort by the Black Irish!
The spirit of this Cd Album captures the bands high spirited live performance like no other recording. Black Irish fans will enjoy the mix of styles and the passion in which they are performed. Award winning fiddle player, David Rainwater, shows off his skill in such a way to prove why he is the master of the bow.
This Cd contains the 100% original "Drunkin Sailor". The band has been copied so many times, by other bands on their arrangement of this Maritime Classic, but here you have it! This is the long play version with all the Black Irish humor as it should be always be.
By far the last two songs on this CD will prove why the Black Irish Band are America's new Clancy Brothers!
Where else can you hear Irish Music and Dixieland brought together? Tipperary will leave you with a great smile on your face and joy in your heart.

Really loved the Irish tunes. They play & sing with so much enthusiasm that it was contagious. I put this CD on when I start to feel down, because there is no way you can hear it & not get happy. I especially liked the fiddle by Dave Rainwater on June Apple. Loved the rendition of Drunken Sailor/Gilligans Island. I've played it every day since I got it. I think I'm going to wear it out....but with a name like McKenney (my married name) you can tell I love the Irish !

I first heard Drunken Sailor/Gilligan's Island on KKUP a couple of weeks ago, and it pulled me out of a sour mood, so I bought the album. Well worth it -- no track rated below 3 stars for me, and several were 4. Drunken Sailor got a full 5, though!
