REVIEWS

Melodic, well-structured, impassioned music
author: Jon Bernreuter
This is an amazing EP. The melodies are well-written and fitted around intriguing chord progressions, and the dynamics are so pronounced they are almost flambuoyant. I haven't gotten to the lyrics yet, but I seem to remember that Paul Durham was an English teacher at one time, so what does that tell you?! "Ecstacy" is the best track in my opinion; that one was on repeat for several days. The only reason I gave this four instead of five stars is that there is only 22 minutes of music on this disc.

Great CD, a much needed infusion of new material
author: Angie
Black Lab is one of the few bands I consider great. It's been a long time since anything new has come from these wonderful artists, but the new EP definitely lives up to their previous work.

Great to see an old favorite put out some new material
author: Sevrian
I am glad to see Blacklab put out some new material. I liked this cd as much as their previous one: Your Body Above Me. The only hang up that keeps me from giving this cd the 5 stars it deserves is the fact that it only has a few songs. With the long wait dont the fans deserve more than that?
