Robert Houston II (born March 24, 1980), popularly known as Black Pegasus or by a variety of nicknames (Black - P, The Black Mexican), is a Hip-Hop artist and current President and CEO of Brass Knuckle Ent. He is the most successful solo artist out of the Denver Metro region. With a foundation in Colorado Springs, Colorado, he has hand-crafted a dedicated following of thousands over the past years by performing and battling in the Mid West and South West.
Known for his controversial battles such as Scribble Jam 7 in 2003 and a finalist in the Jay - Z Roc the Mic battle in Denver, Black Pegasus is the most influential rapper in a region that has never produced a major solo rap artist. Black -P's solo debut album "The Black Pegasus" (2003) and follow up album Knuckle Up (2005) have sold over 10,000 copies independently. His album "F**K YO! RADIO" has been Picked up By L.A. Underground/Warner Bros Distribution and release world wide Oct 2006. With Much Underground Success of his F**K YO RADIO release Black P dropped The Black Mexican Album Jan 15th 2008(That Sold 11,000 units). After touring for a Year Black Pegasus Delivers a Collabo Cd titled ''Banana Spitz'' with Strange music artist Liquid Assassin in the first quarter of 09. As his Popularity increases he puts out his New Mixtape ''Shitting on The Industry V.1'' during the last quarter of 09. In 2010 he released "Black by Popular Demand" Next Release for Black Pegasus is his new album ''The Brass Knuckle King'' Slated to drop May 3rd 2011,With Guest Appearances by Immortal Technique, Kutt Kalhoun, Liquid Assassin & More. Black Pegasus has toured & recorded with artist like T.I., 50Cent, Tech N9ne & Immortal Technique. There is no stopping this up and coming artist or his grass roots following.
