The Black Pine formed in 2000 in Los Angeles. We are a 4 piece band consisting of:

Mitch Cichocki- Guitar and Vocals
Emma Ka Cichocki- Drums
Jason Bacher- Bass
Andrew Lynch- Keyboards

Some bands that we have been compared to have been Radiohead, Blonde Redhead, Sonic Youth and The Kinks.

We have two albums currently available for sale , "The Sexlife of Flowers" E.P. self released in 2003 ,available through I-Tunes and on our website at: http://blackpinemusic.com and our newest album "With Us" released 2006 on local Los Angeles label The New Black, "With Us" is available in independent music stores across the United States as well as being available for purchase on I-Tunes and also through our website.

We are played on local L.A. radio stations :KXLU 88.9 FM, KCRW 89.9 , Indie 103.1 FM and internet radio station: littleradio.com.

We have scored music with actor/director Adam Goldberg for his films , "I Love Your Work" and "Running With the Bulls."

We also played as Sarah Silverman's live band with her one woman comedy show "Jesus is Magic" at Second City and the Canon Theater in Los Angeles, the show is now a major motion picture.


We are currently being distributed by Cobraside Distribution and CD Baby.
