Album Notes

With his second solo release "The Eleventh Hour", Kip finally realizes the musical vision that defines him as an artist. Like his mentor (Prince), Kip wrote, performed, produced and arranged most of the music on the CD with the help of Minneapolis music veterans like Jim Anton, Billy Thommes and Troy Norton. An eclectic mix of rock, gospel, pop, R&B, and soul that Kip sometimes refers to as "Pentecostal Rock", the Eleventh Hour takes listeners on a musical journey through many facets and influences of this amazing artist.

I love this cd. The Kipster has a totally original sound! His pentecostal rock is awesome! Why don't they play this on the radio???? If you're tired of all the mediocrity that passes for music these days, this cd is for you! Blackshire is the real thing. He can SING and JAM at the same time! He could've easily went the direction of other black artists, but he decided to follow his heart instead. The results ia a kick-ass cd that deserves to be heard! Keep up the good work Blackshire! I look forward to your next work of art.
