Album Notes

BlaKats, featuring Hollywood the veteran front-man, singer-songwriter, entertainer extraordinaire, and guitarist G-funk.

G-funk produces the music, and Hollywood pours his heart and soul into it with silky, sensual vocals. Master Keyboardist Rollins Ross performs on several tracks.

BlaKats seamlessly blend heartbreaker ballads like Show Your Love with precision-tooled jams like Wild and Connections no DisConnections to deliver a seductive CD brimming with Grade A R&B melodies. Metermaid, U R the 1, and Lights Camera Action fuse together a blow-away mix of smooth dance, and electrifying rock beats. Viva Freedom, the supremely powerful Reggae tribute to Nelson Mandela captivates with elements of Jazz, Soul and Afro-beat themes masterfully blended in.

Check out the slick, vocal harmonies of Hollywood, and the rhythmic chops, and soaring solos of guitarist G-funk.

Cry If You Want To
author: A Fan

Lead singer Hollywood's pain at a failed love affair is as clear as the lyrics in this song. You feel like he has really been there as he growls, moans and raises his voice to the hypocrisy in his life. Buy it if only to get through your pain as this song does.
