Great album
author: Chris Mussen
This is an amazing collection of songs. I, too, heard about the album through the Grandaddy website. I then proceeded to purchase the album from CD Baby after listening to the song samples they had. It's even better than I thought it would be. From short songs to long songs to quiet songs to loud songs, Hopalong's got it all. Strange, yet perfect. If you like the Grandaddy-esque sound you really need to buy this. I've listened to the album about 6 times today and I'm not even close to being tired of it. Great stuff.

Definitely a bit of the quieter and deeper Grandaddy sound, but also more like the contemplative Sparklehorse and Mercury Rev. Glad I have it!
