"Straight Up" is the way that Blanche Travis-Morro, Atlantic City's only Singing Bartender serves her sensational musical melodies on her just released CD, entitled "Straight Up With A Twist".

This talented vocalist, who has appeared on the Rosie O'Donnell TV Show, (where Rosie exclaimed that she "has a beautiful voice!") and performed in many casino revues, has just recorded many favorites requested by her regular customers and fans at The Tropicana Casino and Resort in Atlantic City. "In the nine years that I have been mixing drinks and simultaneously singing songs, my audiences most love my country renditions by Patsy Cline and Shania Twain." Barbra Streisand's top 40 ballads and some old standards also hold many memories for Blanche's customers.

"Now fans can take their favorites home on my premiere CD, "Straight Up With A Twist"! "It's just the right nightcap after watching me perform", explained Blanche. In June, Blanche celebrated her fifth year at the helm of "Blanche's Bar" at The Tropicana, which was also just named "Best Casino Bar" for 2003 by Casino Player Magazine.

Blanche serves up these sensational renditions in her 3 and ½ octave voice while she manages to mix drinks, sing, handle forms of payment and chat with her many fans all at the same time. Her versatile performance attracts crowds to her namesake bar in the Tropicana when she works each week,
Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Check her hotline for scheduled times at 1-800-THE TROP Ext. 6999.. She fields song requests from behind the bar while ringing the register and giving change. This blonde spitfire serves sound with personality plus.

Blanche has been belting out songs since age 2 without any formal vocal or music lessons. This homegrown talent began singing to her neighbors out her bedroom window in the Ducktown section of Atlantic City, and hasn't missed a note since.

Musicians Kenny Jeremiah and Kit Worton, who worked with her on the CD's production and release, said that she has great vocal versatility. Blanche has heard this claim all her life and apparently it is a family affair. This multitasking bartender comes from a line of multigenerational vocalists. Her Uncle was the late "Cooks Books", the popular cab driver, singer and entertainer. Her Father has a beautiful voice, and now, her daughter, Ashlie, now 10, hits her own notes, giving her youthful and charming rendition of "The Star Spangled Banner" on her mother's versatile CD. In addition, Blanche's best friend, and Godfather to her son Stephen, Mr. Dale Mosher, from Beacon, NY, adds his versatile vocal style to a "duo" of duets also featured on this CD.
