Adam Blankman brings to mind a young Mel Torme. Extraordinary in pitch, timing--scatting with the best of them--a singer's singer. I heard perform live, and his range and musicianship are remarkable. He left me and the audience breathless with his vocal feats and sensitive delivery. He's someone to watch and listen to!

Blankman delivers in straigh simple and clear musical terms. The songs and music come through in a diverse array of great arrangements: groovey, jazzy, swinging, contemporary, Gospel, rock, bebop even Indian! Fine playing by side-men! Impressive diction, virtuosity and delivered with a clear smile and a lot of joy. Highly enjoyable! Highly recommended!

I guarantee you that Blankman will be at the forefront of a new Jazz movement and one hundred years from now some joker will come around and try to reinvent the "Blankman" style...
