Album Notes

In many ways songs are like medication or vitamin supplements for life’s experiences. If you’re feeling down a song can pick you up, needing courage, a song can give you that boost you need to climb that mountain. Or if you’re feeling great, a song can enhance that experience.

The songs found on this CD are reactions or prescriptions for life\'s experiences.

If you’re concerned about the state of the world check out GOLDEN AGE. Sometimes in order to make positive changes, we have to hit rock bottom. This song speaks about the excitement and freedom found when we reach the lowest of points. It’s the feeling of hope and exhilaration one feels when knowing there is no place to go but up.

Every have an out of body experience? Ever been woken up from a good dream that you wish you could go back to sleep to finish? If you answered yes to either question, listen to TEN MINUTES to ease the frustration that can come from such situations.

SOUL FOR SALE drums home the point that hindsight is 20/20.

It might be good for you to hear, EYE SEA if you ever consider suicide as an option to relieve life\'s pain..

If you were ever made to feel bad about yourself by someone who was suppose to do just the opposite. Let UNTIL I MET YOU come to the rescue.

“Why are we enemies again?” If you ever stopped talking to someone for many years but today can’t remember for the life of you why, HERE TODAY can help rebuild that connection.

More, more, more! There has to be more to life. GREEN explores the realization that we are more than the job we hold or how much money we make.

Thanks For Listening.

REVIEWS

Great, great garage!
author: Carl M. Nielsen
This is hardpumping garage rock, the sound of distortion guitars, high energy and attitude. Usually that would not be my kind of thing. The difference is that this is also melodic, with beautifull lines presented by a very sensitive and ekspressive singer. Great voice! - Even though it is the sound of today, related to the contemporary garage-scene, there is a flavour of the 60's and the garage bands of yesterday in on it, in a very charming way. Adding just what is needed for those who like the energy of todays hardrock and punk, but finding it to noisy and to little music. Well, this IS noisy, but not to noisy, and there's sure a lot of plain, real music in it. Actually quite cathing - seven well-composed songs heading off in the manner of now, but just as fine as back then. I think "Fingers Crossed For Fuses" is able to gather together many different listeners who normaly would dislike eachothers taste. It's solid - a difinite quality product. Not for passionate Vivaldi-lovers and people strictly into soft-pop. But for almost anyone else!

60's repeats, to a hosts of hooks
author: Mugz Magazine
Coupled with a simplicity reminiscent of the early 60’s (or mid-80’s), and then mixed with the modern influxes of vocals and instrumentation is how one seems to get Blendre’s latest, “Fingers Crossed for Fuses”. Because the band seems to find favor with their hooks they continue, and they often succeed. On a traditionally big name band one might hope for a bit of increased diversity, yet Blendre instead is paving their path for the future trademark style and that must be noted.
