ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
Blessiddoom began officially in the spring of 2006, with the addition of Paul Rosen on drums to the original three members Russ Reel, Eddie Johnson, and Sherri Reel. The band played their first show in support of Domeshots and Northwest Royale. Inspired to create music that would bring the guitar solo back to forefront of heavy music, as well as carrying a message of the blue collar daily grind they had been part of their entire lives. “Metal has been very supportive of the common man, because metal is really about the common man.” says lead singer Eddie Johnson.

Dystopium is a title created by lead singer Eddie, to describe the state of the world as he sees it. Dystopium: the addiction to a state in which the condition of life is extremely bad as from deprivation, opression, or terror, which results in numbness and stupification.

Blessiddoom has shared the stage with Northwest Royale, Domeshots, The Absence, Separation Of Self, Two Headed Chang, and countless other regional bands.
