Can't Go Wrong With Her Beautiful Voice
Always a pleasure to listen to the vocal stylings of Bernice, song writing that is fun and thoughtful and most enjoyable

Thankyou. A beautiful album!
Bright Angel Creek brought me to buy this album. I love that song and then it turns out the entire album is one gem after another. I've listened to Bernice for years and this album is a true keeper. Thank you for your music.

A masterclass in songwriting.
If you haven't heard of Bernice Lewis before now there's been a huge gaping hole in your life... but you're in for such a treat!
This is a particularly strong collection of songs by Bernice, assisted by a fine supporting cast of fellow musicians.
Great songs performed beautifully by a wonderful and modest lady-thats a pretty rare and special combination.

simply the best
This is the my 3rd CD by Bernice Lewis. Each is a jewel; Religion and Release is breathtakingly beautiful music, from the songwriting, guitar's and vocals which include Dar Williams, Ellis Paul and Alisa Fineman along with Bernice's captivating and georgeous voice. I saw Bernice live in Texas a few years back, just her and her guitar....her performance brought tears to my eyes, an evening of music I will never forget.

Continuing a series of heart rending folk songs. She really gets to you.
This CD is similar to the other one I have, "Isle of Spirit". A neighbor of mine, Paul Jordan, had a party for Bernice on her visit to Shreveport, LA a couple of years ago. I bought the first CD there, and have been a fan since. I listen to her about three times a week. She is good for the soul, and sings about what we think about.
