ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
This is Bernice's sixth CD, recorded in Nashville and produced by Grammy Award winner Charlie Chadwick. It features thirteen new originals, a duet with Cliff Eberhardt, and a unique bass and vocal cover of Joni Mitchell's "A Case of You."

"Bernice is a soulful songwriter, with a voice full of light and hope. That combination makes for a powerful artist, and a beautiful record. She is really one of the keepers of the flame of Real Songwriting."

Rosanne Cash

Bernice's life is filled with beautiful, deep things, and she writes beautifully and deeply about them. "Good Kind of Love to Be In" is wonderful; spoke right to my heart! Great, jazzy cover of "A Case of You." Musically and vocally, she has new wings with the genres she's been exploring,

Put an old friend in your CD player
I just got this CD and I am already singing along with Bernice as she sings for Ruth & Ammy. She has such a beautiful voice and she sends tones through the room like the breezes across mountaintops. I feel like I'm flying when I hear her go to her upper ranges. She's a giant talent. I too have all of Bernice's albums, and I go to see her whenever she is appearing near me. She's a friend, and I like listening to my friend sing to me when I'm in my office.

Always AWESOME and getting better.Bernice
Bernice has always sounded amazing solo, she doesn't even need to play her guitar. On this CD the backup sounds like it belongs there...which is probably more of a complement for the other musicians and the the studio engineer. I notice that I prefer her more serious songs than her more playful ones. I need to send this so I can order the CD. I hate listening to her in sound bites. My heart and ears need to hear the whole songs, it's almost painful to have her cut off mid song.

As always, Bernice rocks!
I have all of Bernice's albums and love them all, but each seems to be better than the next. Simply wonderful.

The Best Bernice Has Made Yet
From the cover to the contents, this is indeed Bernice's best effort. I have listened to this over & over again & now can't help but sing along. I especially like the title song, "She Undoes", possibly because I know her little daughter & can see the love affair Bernice has with her. Lovely sentiments & the music is moving. Thanks, Bernice for a great CD! And we'll keep coming to your concerts!

Truly great--cohesive & moving
A great recording--I think the most cohesive Bernice has done. Some fun songs, some moving ones, and some very evocative lyrics. (I especially like Ruth & Ammy!) I've been listening to it steadily since I got it last month. Great cover, too!!
