Album Notes

Brian L Hughes, an indie artist of many years, proudly presents his unique style of modern folk. He makes his home amid the evergreen trees of Washington State. His latest CD is in the works and retains the temperament of his earlier CDs.

Raised in the orchards of Eastern Washington Brian was mechanically inclined, driving tractors, fixing cars, and exploring hi-fi. His first musical instrument was an antique pedal organ. At a very early age, Brian used to watch his grandmother play hymns on that organ. It was not soon after, Brian was playing the same instrument. Let\'s just say, he was a natural talent.

The guitar became his instrument of choice in his late teens. He perfected his open chord style and vocals that are his strength today.

The lyrics of Brian L Hughes have been publically recognized. First place in the Narrative Music\'s Romantic Love category bestowed for his song \"She Steps So Easy\". Honorable mention from Billboard\'s world song contest was awarded for two earlier songs \"Interlace\" and \"Adhesion\".

His inspirations have come from the likes of The Beatles, Neil Diamond, Fleetwood Mac, Heart, and Yes.

This troubadour\'s mastery of lyric and guitar renews the smile upon the face of who we are. Relax and enjoy prose describing a perfect rose and the setting of a new moon. Expect more to come from Brian L Hughes, he knows his new songs are out there, already riding upon the waves, ready to crash onto the shores of his imagination.
