"Rebels Without Applause" is the 2nd release by the Albany, NY based power-pop-punk band ThE BLiSTeRz. Their high energy rock 'n' roll will have you on your feet shouting along with both fists in the air! Led by a loud mouth lead singer who loves power chords in the Key of G, a stylish bass player who blinks while performing wizardry on the low end and a thrashing beast on the drums who breaks kick drums and ladies' hearts with reckless abandon. They have put together a 14 song masterpiece with influences ranging from Social Distortion and The Replacements to Green Day and The Clash with touch of old school Goo Goo Dolls and and a hint of Beatles thrown in for good measure . After one listen you will be trying to shake their infectious anthems such as 'Friday Night Girls', 'Your Girlfriend Wants Me', 'Hear U Cry' and 'Like You' from your head. You will probably find yourself singing in the the shower, the car, the supermarket and even in your sleep. People will look at you strange but then quickly be compelled to sing along with you.
