I grew up in a home where food was a luxury. No, I was not raised in a third world country, I was raised in Canada. As a child I watched my mother do whatever she needed to do to keep food on the table. She broke laws, cried, begged and borrowed to keep her children healthy. She was a hero in more ways then many people will ever understand. My Debut single, Thinner, is about the struggle that single mothers face all over the world. It is about hunger, and what mothers will do to prevent their children from getting THINNER.
