In 1969, legendary country singer Merle Haggard introduced the city of Muskogee, Oklahoma to the world with his classic hit \"Okie From Muskogee.\" The song sparked a tremendous amount of attention, cementing the singer\'s stardom. However, the hip-hop world has yet to experience the potency of lyrical showmanship from the state\'s best-kept secret. Lion\'s Den Studios along with 3rd Lane Productions have released a one of a kind compilation album of emcees and artists from Muskogee, Oklahoma who display their raw talent of lyrical expertise in a way unbeknownst to the common hip hop music lover.
