Bloody Honey (BH) is a rock band formed by Marco (lead vocals and guitars), Federico (bass guitar and background vocals), and Mattia (drums, keyboards and percussions) that was formerly known as Bad Mother Fuckers (BMF). Their first appearence to an audience was in summer 2002, with Daniele Miceli on lead guitar.
After their first recording near Serralunga di Crea studio recording in 2003, they setted their own sound adding in their repertoire some of the most famous 80s-90s american classic cover rock songs.
In 2004 they had their first appearence to the italian famous rock contest "Emergenza"; afterwards they decided to change the band name from BMF to Bloody Honey. This name was drawn from one of the most important Salvador Dali's masterpiece.
In 2005 Bloody Honey tried to develop its sound and bring it to a more alternative-punk rock level after the abandon of the second guitarist.
In January they had their first exibition in front of a real rock audience: they played at the Hiroshima Mon Amour in Turin.
Five months later, the first fulfilment: third place in a local rock contest in Casale M.to and a public appearence in one of the most attended place (Piazza Mazzini) in Casale.
In 2006 the band passed an experimental phase that leads the band to a new type of song compsition-adding in the style of the band retro-70's guitar riffs, stoner and grunge influences; after a few months, they won two rock contests, the first one in Casale (let's Rock); the second one in Busto Arsizio (Bustock); in November they had recorded their last promo-cd of six tracks that include the earlier period of the band and also the most experimental side of their own sound.
