Album Notes

CD “Riding Through The Stars” is a debut album of the Russian all stars project BLOODYVOSTOK that began its history in 2005 as the result of almost 6 month auditions performed by a well-known Russian metal portal MetalKings.ru In total 67 guitar players, 8 female and 7 male vocalists, 4 bass players and 4 drummers took part in the casting to a new project. The album is written by a young 17 years old guitar virtuoso Oleg "O-!z" Izotov in co-operation with a famous metal producer Natalie “Rag Doll” Dybaylo.

Nowadays the line-up is featuring musicians from AKADO, Golden Age, Sylvana, Serenada – well-known Russian bands.

They describe their style as 'egoist-rock' - a flammable mixture of industrial, heavy, glam and gothic music. The musicians don't want to put any labels or any margins to their musical direction as they united in a brand new project in order to put into reality the most wildest and extraordinary ideas and plans which can't be realized within their main bands.

At the present time BLOODYVOSTOK are working on the materials to their second album "Cold Morning" to be released in 2008 through Hellcome To Dollywood Records.
