ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
The Bludlows are now one of the pre-eminent rock bands of the greater Boston, Massachusetts area. Founded in the late 1990s by D. Hardwick, their first album "No Be an Arsonist" rose to high acclaim as one among the top ten best albums of 2005. Their latest release, “Americaville” was recorded and mixed in 2008-09 by Mike Cafferey (the notorious drum engineer on Katy Perry’s “I Kissed a Girl.”) in NYC at Monster Island Records, and mastered by Jeff Lipton at Peerless Mastering in Newton, MA. .

"Americaville" is ready to be shipped for duplication and your copy awaits you! The official album release date was January 15th, 2009, and to celebrate, the Bludlows played their native Boston that night at Oliver's! (see the schedule on myspace.com/thebludlows for upcoming shows).

As 2012 - and the Mayan Calendar - race to completion, the Bludlows stand poised to release their latest round of material, with early signals of a new single to come in December 2012. Stay tuned for an update soon!

Some tracks of Americaville are uploaded here for your listening pleasure. media Interviews with the band, including attending a live rehearsal, and visit with the band studio, may be arranged by emailing thebludlows@gmail.com.
