The Memphis Sessions are the debut EP of dynamic, young Dallas singer/songwriter Michael Elford. Blue Condition is his new band. The sessions were produced by multiple Grammy award winner Jim Gaines (Stevie Ray Vaughan,Santana) and were recorded at Ardent Studios in Memphis. Top studio musicians from LA and Austin backed Michael in the sessions including Tommy Taylor(Christopher Cross, Eric Johnson) who is voted best drummer at Austin Music Awards year after year. Tommy was joined by Carmine Rojas, bass player for David Bowie and later Rod Stewart\'s music director along with Lance Keltner on guitar, who worked with Carmine in the Rod Stewart band. The result is four great new rock songs ranging in style from power ballad to bluesy roots rock.

Best song of the year
author: gato bob
Rain is the best song I have heard in a long time. I want to hear it over and over. The big chorus at the end and the outro are chilling. Great lyrics, just a great song, with great vocals and great musical performances by the band. All four songs on this album are very nice. What a super new talent Michael Elford is. Want to hear more from him and his band.

Great Songs, worth a listen

I just finished listening to the tracts on this album. I really like the vocals and the style. I like the mix of rock and blues. Reminds me of Gin Blossums, Johny Rawls and Bon Jovi. Worth a listen and worth buying the album.
