Since 1992, BlueGrace has been entertaining and inspiring audiences around the United States and abroad.
With their roots in bluegrass music, BlueGrace moves beyond tradition combining a bit of country, jazz and blues to bring a fresh spin to traditional Gospel music that is enjoyed by young and old alike.
High energy and variety give BlueGrace broad appeal to audiences of all musical tastes. From original songs to familiar favorites, BlueGrace can move from smokin' bluegrass to a Beatles hit in an upbeat tapestry of hot banjo, smooth guitar and infectious rhythm.
As the backbone of BlueGrace, Paul Mahn is widely recognized as one of America's long-standing top banjo players. In addition to many commercial recordings, Paul has delivered his limber and squeaky clean style on stage with the likes of the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, The Pure Prairie League and The Ozark Mountain Daredevils.
A former member of the Indianapolis Opera Company, Neal Letteney's rich and resonating voice fronts the band, having received musical training from Butler University and jazz guitarist Herb Ellis. Joining BlueGrace in 2005, Jon Stoll brings decades fiddle-playing experience to the band. His extensive resume includes performances with Tony Bennett, Peggy Lee, Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra, the Front Porch Boys and many others.
Finally, Bobby Tews (drums), Nate Lehner (bass, vocals) and Sherry Drinkwine (vocals, Percussion) round out what has been called "One of the most unique sounds in acoustic music today."
BlueGrace has been showcased with Randy Travis, Charlie Daniels, Nancy Honeytree, Big Tent Revival, Glenn Kaiser, Larry Howard and Mitch McVicker. The band's venues are as broad as their music, ranging from a Miller Park concert and a show for Harley-Davidson Fest, to live broadcasts on National Public Radio. There is something for everyone!
BlueGrace delivers an experience that will leave your audience uplifted, energized, and excited. With an enthusiastic and professional performance, BlueGrace offers an unparalleled experience. Don't miss this imaginative, fun, brilliant sound!

MUST OWN
author: Road Warrior
First off, I received this CD as a gift from someone who saw the band live. I was underwhelmed because I don't care much for bluegrass music and I tossed it aside. My wife was cleaning up one day and put the CD in my travel case (I spend a lot of time on the road). On a trip one day I played the CD out of curiosity. I'll be honest and tell you that I didn't linger too long on the old timey stuff at first (like the first track). But the disk has a variety of styles (the next cut is a blues number) and the quality of the musicianship and especially the singing blew me away. I guess you have to hand it to anyone this talented, even if you're not really drawn to the category of music they play. And some of the music on this disk is not bluegrass at all. The title cut is more "rockabilly" and the last song, "In the Hollow of Your Hand" should probably be called a "pop" number (it's my favorite on the disk). Anyway, I've called the person who gave me the CD to thank them. It's become one of my most-played CDs.

My dad sent this to me because I make him listen to MY music and he said turn about was fair play. I play this album all the time now and so does everybody in my dorm. You gotta hear it to believe it.

Totally different. . .in a good way!

I have the passing thru album and was helping my mom download it from itunes when I noticed this new album! A more organic sound from the last disk but quite a wide range of styles on one CD from almost pop country, to classic bluegrass to acoustic blues. Very enjoyable.

Too hip for the (Indiana festival) room...
author: Romi Dudiak
I'm not a Gospel Music fan. Especially not a BLUEGRASS Gospel fan. This CD, however is not only "out of he box," it's actually hip. Forget the "Hee Haw" gene that's infected the bluegrass equivialent of the devout civil war re-enactors – this is great, artistic, iconoclastic stuff. Get it, and you'll fly away!
