Album Notes

THE BLUE HEARTS have a proud history of pushing the boundaries of contemporary rock, blues and americana since 1992 when their first album “Lullaby For The Lost”, and follow up single “Hearts About To Break” prompted interest from UK national TV, radio and press. Their second album “No More Long Goodbyes” (1995) achieved worldwide radio play and the single “Defenseless” reached no 30 on the Nashville independent music chart, followed by their third and most atmospheric album “Dark Side Of Town” (2004). Their new album is a strong step forward into a new contemporary sound, which the band have dubbed ‘Neon Rock’, drawing on the roots of rock n roll, adding ethereal harmony, and a cathedral of guitar, violin and pedal steel and crashing surf ambience.
