Have You a Taste takes you to Italy, to Chicago, to Chile, to London, to Jamaica, to the City and to Key West. Travel is by plane, by boat, by train and on foot. Bruce and Colin weave their stories using their acoustic guitars (six, seven and twelve string versions) and their voices. Their studio recordings are rounded out with other instruments as needed but they never forget their acoustic roots.
We are very happy and proud to have our good friend Jayne Kelli performing on two songs. Her amazing voice adds a great dimension to Wish I'd Never and Soul of the City. Thanks Jayne (look for her on CD Baby as well).

If you like Jimmy Buffet then you'll love Blue Island Beer Club. Colin Ward and Bruce Kula write and perform the songs that are a combination of pop, blues, and island music. Listening to their new album Have You a Taste makes you want to find a tropical beach and sip pina coladas all day long. I listened to the album and really enjoyed it, especially Have You A Taste.
Their songs incorporate things they enjoy most like exotic places, beaches, guitars, and women. You can't help but smile and sing along when listening to Blue Island Beer Club. Their music is a reminder that all work and no play makes Jack (and Jane) very dull. Kick back, relax, and enjoy this band.

A Fine Album

All of the tracks are interesting, well written and produced. From straight acoustic guitars to a blend of electric instruments, there is something for everyone who likes folk rock. The addition of Jayne Kelli on two tracks is the icing on the cake.
