Blue Rose was formed by bassist Jon Martin and guitarist Corey Storm. Three beautiful women out front, Ahada, Diana Balsama and Kathy Horton, with Dave Favro on sax and keys, and Barry Kovach on drums round out the line-up. The band writes entertaining original bluesy rock material while selecting B side covers and several crowd pleasers for live performances. The band focuses on creating a professional and polished performance. With three dynamo female singers, the band has been well-received and became an instant success. With the diverse musical backgrounds of the members, Blue Rose defines their own brand of Detroit sound.

Excellent sound & well produced Detroit Rock & R&B Soul.
This band never had a great sound and was never given the recognition they deserved. Ahada's vocals are outstanding. Included in this twelve track release are six covered songs, Elvin Bishop's classic Fooled Around And Fell In Love, an excellent rendition. Going Down, I believe In My Soul, Evil Gal Blues,Unchain My Heart & Shaky Ground also six original compositions this CD is worth seeking out.
