Album Notes

REVIEW FROM CORAZINE MAGAZINE , JULY 07

Blues Divine certainly has what it takes on "That's What It Takes," a solid delivery of organic blues work. Guitar grooves embrace horn playing and soulful vocals for a lush sound. Passion runs through the veins of this music and such is a vital requirement for the execution of blues-based rock. These guys know the sound and they possess the kind of heart required to drive such a sound. I'm especially enamored of the horn section. Its contributions blend seamlessly with the other musicians' efforts and are an important element in Blues Divine's music, but they also stand out as a key part of the band's success.
