Album Notes

"Formed in October 1992, Jason Bouchard, Dave Carpenter, Ron Kuba, and Mike Kuba combine to give a unique blending of atmosphere, energy and subtle dissonance; stirring their audience in a sonic whirlpool of emotion.

Haunting lyrics, complimenting guitar and keyboard phrasing, melodic bass lines and subtle yet powerfully accurate drum rhythms give Blueshift Signal their sound.

A youthful sound.

An invigorating sound.

An ethereal sound.

"Big dreamy guitar textures. Lots of atmosphere." New England Performer.

"Tasting ringing guitars...the production sparkles beautifully all the way through." The Providence Phoenix.

I was happy to hear they made another cd. I was lucky enough to try out this perticular album from a record fair I frequent each month. It gives me the chance to try out alot of unknown artists without spending a whole lot of money. Let me just say that when I listened to Blue Shift Signal it was music I would have paid top dollar for. I wish they had fifteen cd s out to go out and purchase. They really are a great band. I later found a second copy, and I gave it to my brother who is a avid record collector for years, since the fifties. He also was very impressed with the sounds on this recording. It really is a great record all the way round. Great musicianship. Great lyrics. Great sound. Great voice. Nothing overdone. Just right. I give this disc major thumbs up.
