After the release of Seven Natural Scenes, Blueshift Signal were immediately working in the studio recording songs for their next CD. The first song finished was “Halo” which was featured on the compilation CD "Woke up Smiling" on Bedazzled Records in 1995. “Ullswater” and “Adrift” were finished but guitarist Mike Kuba abruptly decided to leave the band and Blueshift Signal became a trio. The songs “Luminesce”, “Hazy Red Orange” and “Nortan” were recorded and then David Carpenter departed and left Ron & Jason to finish the CD. Ron & Jason recorded the final song “Surround” and the CD was scheduled to be released in autumn of 1996. John Orsi joined the band as the new drummer and the new direction of Blueshift signal shelved the release of “Surround” until now…
