ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
New York based band BILL TURNER & BLUE SMOKE have been creating a rumble in the northeast states for 3 decades.

Turner, a former lead guitarist with Bill Haley & His Comets during the mid 70's, along with his red-hot Blue Smoke band derive their inspiration from traditional country and rockabilly, but put their own distinctive spin on the music effectively creating their own highly individual sound and style.

Starting out as a bar band in 1972, they now appear regularly in Atlantic City at Bally's Wild, Wild West Casino as well as throughout the NY, NJ, PA DE and CT area in nightclubs and outdoor concert dates.

Bill Turner is a multi-instrumentalist, playing guitar, dobro, mandolin, fiddle and harmonica on this CD as well as those for other artists.

Bill Turner & Blue Smoke are also heard on MTV playing the soundtrack music on the four commercials launching the M-2 Satellite Network.

The band records for Mansion Records, an independent label.

Great songs. A plus to have in my cd library. Dream of me has an Irish sound to it. Love that. Enjoy listening to Bill Turner & Blue Smoke music. Top notch. Wish there were bands like his in Florida.

excellent!
I have known the Bill Turner and Blue Smoke Band all of my life. My mom was the back ground vocalist and she also did percussion. You may know her Linda Marie. My step dad was Eric the "K" Knutsen. Whenever I have a bad day sometimes I just listen to this Record believe it or not, over and over again, and it still gives me chills. This record is unbelievable, and I think they did an awesome job! I just wish that they would come out with more CD's.
