BLUES THERAPY is an experienced Classic Rock/Blues Band that has been playing in Maryland for the last six years. They have played in venues that include outdoor festivals, private parties, and special events, as well as clubs in Annpolis, Canton, Whitemarsh, Bel Air, Ocean City, Ellicott City, Laurel, and Federal Hill. The band's home venue has been An Poitin Stil in Timonium, known locally as THE STILL, where BLUES THERAPY has performed twice monthly for over five years! They have been fortunate to have the support of the wonderful management, and they have developed a following of loyal fans. BLUES THERAPY has been privileged to feature several exceptional musicians (Robert Fiester, Bobby B, Dennis Michaels, Chris Sellman, Harold Steinitz, John E. Coale, Samuel J. Pelegrino, George Mexis, and Kevin Jones), and this CD includes LIVE tracks recorded over the past two years. For those who don't know the story behind the band, the name emerged from "Doc" Steinitz' profession as a psychologist, and the improvisational hallmark of their music is his therapy. This is a wonderful LIVE band, and those who listen continue to be delighted with the variations that highlight talented, enthusiastic musicians. Enjoy the celebration!
