Album Notes

"Nuevo Calendores" is an eclectic mix of 70's Rock a la Bad Company and Deep Purple with Asian and Middle Eastern influences constituting some of the tracks evoking the exotic lands of Japan and Turkey.

Fusion plays a role in some of the other songs, as Michael dishes out a cocktail of Blues, Jazz, Rock, and 60's Psychedelic overtones. He gives a haunting vocal performance in the title track, with political and philosophical lyrics that are at times cynical and humorous.

Improvisation is the key ingredient to this album, with changes in direction being the norm. Brother David provides his eclectic drumming chops on the trio of tracks "Ming Blues/Texas Jalapeno/Isle of Skye."

Sit back, listen, and enjoy the trip!

Thanks,

Michael Blumenstock
