Blusyde was established in March 1997.They began in the New York area playing selections from their first single,"Overthere", and developed a consistent NY following while performing in such venues as Joe's Pub, the Iridium,Soul Cafe, Downtime, Baggot Inn, S.O.B.'s, Jimmy's Uptown, CBGB's, Nell's, Groove,South Street Seaport "Summer Stage", and the Elbow Room.

The band consists of six members of whom sing and play their own instruments exceptionally well with a great level of proficiency. The instrumentation consists of bass, drums, keyboards, saxophone, trumpet, guitar, and vocals.
