Album Notes

A project founded upon intuition, self-hatred, and a lack of self-control. It is a mesh of individual experiences trapped within the process of creativity. It is a band created to fulfill its own selfish needs before succumbing to those of an audience yet attempts to accurately portray the beauty of pain and, therefore, the beauty of living as well. Their music is an attempt at synthesizing the inconsistencies between man and machine, thought and feeling, life and death, fear and comfort, love and hate, the subjective and the objective. Their 2007 release touches upon all of these themes in a sixty-five minute, seventeen track disc. They attempt to convey to their listeners the simple aesthetic of lush compositions in order to encrypt a profoundly hopeless and nihilistic philosophy. When listening to this record, one is generally subject to find appreciation in its lovely textures yet be horrified by its honest reality.
