Clever lyrics and catchy melodies
author: Lauren Lapointe
OK, it's really hard to write a funny song. A truly funny song has to have some depth and poignancy to it. Many songwriters struggle with this and can never seem to achieve the right balance. Bob, however, knows how to include just the right amount of humor and sensitivity with an eye for detail. Not that all of his songs are humorous - he covers a broad range of subjects and emotions. His melodies are instantly catchy and upbeat. He turns into an bad-a#@ alt-rocker on "Without Even Asking." Overall a fantastic CD!!

Like finding an undiscovered vein of gold
author: Mike Zebart
Listening to Woodstock Six is like finding an undiscovered vein of gold in some abandoned California mine. Bob's music doesn't channel the 1960s -- it proves instead that the 1960s are alive and well, kicking and screaming, in a small room across the hall. The door's unlocked. Time traveling and astral projection, without the heavy machinery or hallucinations. That doesn't mean you won't have a mild hangover. Bob's music will keep playing in your head long after you hear it. Throw the switch, take a deep breath, dive in, swim to the bottom. You'll be amazed.
