Album Notes

Bobbie Adair is a singer/songwriter from Oklahoma with a passion and heart for God and for showing people the love, peace and healing that comes from an intimate personal relationship with Him. She writes and sings from the depth of a heart that has triumphed through personal tragedy and abuse and the scars of having to keep those abuses hidden from family, friends and loved ones for years. She spent most of her life growing up feeling rejected and un-loved; believing the lies that the devil feeds most abuse victims that “she was unlovable” and “it was her fault” she must have done something wrong to deserve this.

Over the last four years God began to lead Bobbie in a new direction. That direction was total healing and restoration. He lead her to various people who loved her just the way she was, people who prayed with her and showed her the love of Jesus the way it was meant to be shown. Since that time she has used the gifts of writing and performing songs as a way to share the amazing love of God she’s come to know and experience with others.

Bobbie is one who loves to go into prisons and shelters just as well as churches to share her testimony through music and to show others that Jesus loves them just the way they are. She says that the church should reach out to anyone they can in any place they can when given the opportunity to do so.

To put it in her own words:

“It was the love of God that changed me, not demands or rules from people.

I have found when you really have a taste of the "real" love of Jesus it will change everything in your life. That love brings so much peace and healing. It makes you want to please Him, it makes you want to be like Him and it makes you desperately want to show that love to others, so they too can have the freedom that you now have in Christ. I feel that what God has called me to do is to spread that love to others. To show the world and the (un-loved, un-churched, un-wanted so to speak) that they are not forgotten and that there is someone who loves them and wants them and He gave His life to show them how much He cares and life with Him is the only complete life there is. Be honest, Be real, Be you, that’s the hardest part of the whole deal is to learn to just be who you are. We seem to forget that God already sees and knows everything. It’s so freeing to just be real with God, with others but most importantly with yourself because you can never truly be happy or free until you are”. she says.

Bobbie uses the gift of music to get through to people in a way that a conversation or a message might not. She goes straight to the heart with songs like “Do you know” which deals with times of desperation and reached #3 on White Dove International Radio charts in Jan 2004 and and "Dear Journal" the 1st single off her latest project, which deals with standing for someone you love and realizing how far God's love goes for the ones he loves.

Bobbie’s newest album “End Of Me” with songs like “Castle Called Pretend” and “Thankful” released the end of 2005 and promises to be as heartfelt and full of emotion as every song she has ever done.
