Bob’s latest CD features Paul Contos (soprano and tenor sax, flute), Dan Robbins (electric and upright bass), Steve Robertson and Jimmy Norris (traps), and Rhan Wilson (tabla, bongos and assorted percussion).
As a popular sideman, seven string guitarist Bob Burnett has supported among others, Doobie Brothers bassist Tiran Porter, Jazz Steel Pan player Andy Narell, World Beat stars Pele Juju, Nigerian Afro-Beat All-Star Danjuma Adamu, Kenny Stahl and children’s musician Bob Reid. Burnett was also a regular on Kid’s Clubhouse KTEH TV and has shared the stage with Emeril, Tony Curtis and Bruce Willis.
Bob also founded the band Haven Terrace which included members Jeff Ballard, Kenny Wollesen and Andy Connell. His other original project, Loops and Lines, released a CD and played the Kuumbwa Jazz Center and San Jose Jazz Festival.
Bob’s musical odyssey has landed him on stage at High Sierra Music Festival, Vancouver Folk Festival, Winnipeg Folk Festival, Utah Arts Festival, Alaska State Fair, Oregon Country Fair and major SF venues Slims and Great America Music Hall.
