As a Solo Performer, he hit the music scene in the 1970’s and 80’s with such singles as “Before You” and a cover version of“Funky Broadway” that brought to sellout crowds at the “Copa” and ”The Baby Grand”, in addition to other Clubs in New York City and around the Country. Bobby also has released a well-received Collection of Reggae love songs and a rap single entitled “The Sarge”.

His group, The International Platters features Stringer, four additional Gentlemen and a Lady. Performing all The Great Platter Hits from the 50’s, 60’s, and 70’s. Boasting a Repertoire of more than 500 Songs. Stringer’s Melodic Voice and Electrifying Stage Presence has been featured in Spain, Mexico, Bahamas, and throughout the United States.

Three years ago, Stringer founded a band which appropriately bares the name “The Special Touch Band”. This Immensely Talented Band is composed of Stringer on vocals, Robert Loiacono lead guitar,Stephen Hillier on keyboard, Willie Jackson on bass guitar and Curmit Sibert on percussion. Together these Multi-Talented musicians are setting audiences on fire around South Florida and the Country with there moving renditions of soul and old school R & B favorites. Stringer released a CD with Roy C (Hammond) label called “My Sweet Thing”, featuring the songs “You turned my world around”, “Living for the weekend”, and (Tyrone Davis) “The turning point”.

His new CD, "I'm Not To Blame" takes his voice to anothe rlevel.
