About this CD...

The genesis for this CD came about as a request from mothers of newborns, as well as individuals looking for a peaceful, simple CD to aid in relaxation and even sleep. This CD was recorded specifically to be FLUTE-ONLY material…no drums, rattles, other instruments, or environmental sounds…just slow-tempo songs I’ve written/recorded for that very purpose. These are my original compositions, save for 2 variations I wrote to traditional Native American melodies.

Uniquely, I make all of the flutes you hear me play, and invite you to look at my website(listed below)for more information on my flute Journey. I had a good friend say one time these songs were more like 'musical poetry' than repetitive traditional flute songs. On this CD you'll hear a wide-range of keys from a bass A drone on "Undercurrents" to a unique high G drone on "Zuni Sunrise Prayer"...come to think of it, all other tracks are single-barrel flutes, not any other drones. I also invite you to email me with any questions and inquiries you might have. We are all Related, and I consider my music to be a vessel for healing, relaxation, and enlightenment.
