Album Notes

Bob Dahl was born in 1964 and is the youngest of seven siblings. He resides in Oregon. He began taking piano lessons at the age of ten, though never aspired to become a composer of piano music until the early 1980's when he became acquainted with the solo piano works of such artists as David Lanz and George Winston. Bob plays truly from the heart, with great passion, but with little understanding of how to read music.

Bob began performing professionally in late 1994, when he was hired by NORDSTROM as a pianist. Bob put out his first CD: "The Color of Dreams" in 1995. The CD had a very positive response from listeners, including renowned pianists David Lanz and Michael Jones. In 2000 Bob released his "Perception" CD at Borders Books & Music in Salem Oregon, where there was standing room only.
The CD sold out that night. Bob is a featured artist on KINK 102 F.M. in Portland Oregon. Bob is also featured on the internet radio program www.solopianoradio.com.
