What would happen if Weird Al Yankovic, Tenacious D, Spike Jones, Frank Zappa and Mojo Nixon infused in a sweaty, sticky, yet gentle and soothing man orgy? Why, you'd get Bob Knows Best, Southern California's newest and hottest comedy indie group.

notes

Bands come and go, but memorable music lasts forever. We all have special songs that define moments in our lives. We’ve heard the ones that made us cry, the ones that take us back to our youth, the ones that make us remember that love we lost or remind us why we fell in love. But the songs that truly stand out are the ones that make us laugh. For Bob Knows Best, it’s about capturing the humor in our everyday lives and to stir the inner sprit with a the things we have always thought about saying but have dare to mention them even among our closest friends.

Brought together in Covina, California Bob Knows Best began in 2003 but it wasn’t until 2005 that the band's music career got a shot in the arm and began to take flight. The bands original songs have earned them comparisons to Weird Al Yankovic, Spike Jones, and Tenacious D.

Bob Knows Best have been paying their dues, performing at local venues all over Southern California, such as the House of Blues, Hogue Barmichaels, Di'Piazza's, The Anarchy Library, Smart City Grinds and Club Good Hurt. At every show they gain more and more fans with their theatrical style performances. This is possible with Co-Lead vocalists Scott Carri and Graham Scott leading the Sextet. Drummer Mark Adams and bassist Jamis Iovine form a tight rhythm section which allows guitarist Sean Roberts to work his magic across the fretboard, and to add the spice to the mix is percussionist Ed Devore.

The foundation of "Bob Knows Best...Gets Their Hair Did" is to expose the band's diversity in their musical tastes. Bob Knows Best can take you to the funk of the 70's, the vaudevillian days of 1910, give you the country flavor of yesteryear and then bring you back to the rock sounds of today.

The band is currently performing locally throughout the Southern California basin at various venues and comedy clubs to spread the word that there’s a new sheriff in town that wants to tickle your funny bone.

This up and coming band delivers not only laughs but great music, with the combination of wit and talent that could be compared to Weird Al and Steven Lynch. Between the gifts of Jamis on bass, Sean on guitar, and Mark on drums, the audience is graced with the soulful vocal flair of Graham and Scott. To add to this already excellent mix is the energy and enthusiasm of the King of Excitement himself, Ed, playing such classic intruments as the cowbell and rhythm board (washer to most of us). Great comidic timing and music that is easy on the ears, who could ask for more? It would be a waste to miss them in action.
