Album Notes

Born in New York City in 1950, then growing up in White Meadow Lake, New Jersey, Bob Krinsky has a lifetime passion for songwriting under his belt. He has performed his songs in coffeehouses, clubs and festival stages from the Big Apple, New Jersey and the Catskills Mountains, to west coast venues such as the Oregon Country Fair, Seattle Folk Life Festival, Seattle Freemont Fair, Okanogan Family Fair, Vashon Island Earthfair, and other roots places.

From 1980 through the early 90’s Bob produced albums for the likes of jazz great Diane Schuur; blues legend Isaac Scott; and many other Northwest favorite sons and daughters. His work with Seattle area session musicians and artists led to a return to his roots as a songwriter and performing artist, working solo and in many band configurations including, Ricky Lee Bob, Rogues Gallery, Bobby’s Mumbo Jumbo and others.

Vashmakahn , Bob’s first compact disc released in 1994, was featured on the cover of Soundlife Magazine, the entertainment magazine published by the Tacoma News Tribune. The title cut was a local mainstay on the rock/reggae club circuit. Bob’s devotion to family including his wife Delilah and his children Jana, Ross and Ginger have kept Bob busy with other adventures, until finally, the upcoming release of his new compact disc, RADIO DADDYO, brings out ten fresh tunes for your enjoyment. The cut “Worser Things” is already reaching underground cult status, with requests for performances at the likes of Seattle Hempfest, Freemont Solstice Ball and at opening gigs for notables such as Railroad Earth.

Bob lives with his family and many four legged pals at his spread on Vashon Island, Washington.

Deep, VERY deep.....

This is a great collection. Radio Daddyo's heart and soul makes the hair stand up on the back of my neck. Inspired and inspiring without being preachy or pretentious, the lyrics can't help but make you think of experiences you've had and people you've met. And humor? Yeah, try not to smile when you sing along with WORSER THINGS. WORSER THINGS, the quintessential "underground hit", deserves all the attention it's getting in the Northwest USA, and is destined to be sung long after the copyright and author have expired. Peeps, you NEED to hear this record...and thanks for lending me your eyes.... - anonymous

intruiging characters in upbeat ballads
author: Robert Kirschenbaum

Buckley Downs starts with a foreboding fade and takes you down the dark lanes of a cobblestone psyche. Crying in my car is about catharsis and Aggie Day is the woman whitened by age who dies on a sidewalk gravestone. The sound production is superb as Krinsky delivers soulful, yet upbeat, ballads sung with a smile.
